Is that solely based on misguided greed and economics? It makes ZERO sense ! My husband drove by an ammunition store yesterday and the line was a block long. I’m scared and am on pins and needles. My anxiety is through the roof. Given he loves TV and reality TV no doubt he will try to highjack the election and announce tomorrow night. The world is watching and I hope after Biden takes office and I am being positive and letting the universe hear that , that Trump is investigated again along with all of his cronies and pays for his endless crimes!
Over the past few years, experts in journalistic experts and best practices provided playbooks and warnings to MSM. Their warnings and guidance have been blunt, as have been their predictions of the dangers of allowing unfettered and unquestioned propaganda to be spread on their platforms. To no avail. At this point, it's impossible to point to naivete or ignorance. The press has repeatedly shown that, with few exceptions, there is no one that won't be hosted, no proposition that will go unchecked, no 'alternative facts' allowed to muddy the waters. At a certain point, cowardice becomes complicity. As with Facebook (delete your accounts to deprive this malicious entity of oxygen), the answer is the same. Stop watching the programs that amplify propaganda (ABC, NBC, CBS, even PBS is often surprisingly weak), stop supporting the NYT (Maggie Haberman and Peter Baker are just absurd reporters, the former spent years as stenographer to the WH's strategic leaks, the latter pretended that objective journalism required equal weight to lies and truth). There are a plethora of independent journalists, experts podcast hosts, and excellent sources of news: The New Yorker, The Atlantic, ProPublica, as well as foreign newspapers that usually have blunt, insightful, and objective assessments about the decay and moral rot throughout American society and institutions. As long as the public supports those cynical journalists who financially benefit from our descent into madness, we feed the monsters that aid in our destruction.
One of the primary images stuck in my head is from the final horrible/beautiful scene from the film Melancholia. Perhaps it's a lesson about looking directly into the gaping maw of a disaster with eyes and spirit wide open, facing it head-on. Or maybe I'm just morbid. I'm convinced I need to purposely witness the events of tomorrow (and beyond), rather than bury my head in the sand and ignore it.

I can't still believe what this monster is doing, inciting hate, violence and division. It makes me sick. A total Putin's move, I mean, he follows his Puppet master directions, to promote hate/division among Americans. I was in Austin this past weekend and I saw a lot of the cult-followers (Dumb ass train something) speeding off of MoPac and I-35N /45N, counted 41 stupid-ass flags off 71 on my way to Austin. Back in Houston, I have not seen so many of these flags or these thugs out, but I won't be surprised. I think shit won't fly here. HPD / Sheriff Dept. they are doing a great keeping people safe. On the other hand, 127K votes in HTX will be accounted for, a win for Democracy. No matter what Trump says/does, I strongly believe in the people bringing the house down, voting, a blue tsunami, bigger and better than 2018 and we are not going to let this fly neither. So much pain, death, discord and division that this maniac has caused to the U.S. It is time for him to go. November 3rd is / will be remembered as a modern 4th of July in America!
I’m in a state of shock. I just can’t believe in 4 years we’ve gone from an admired country to the world’s largest embarrassment. I have family and friends in the areas of NJ and Richmond, VA where these Proud Boys are rallying so am a bundle of nerves.
Is there absolutely no way our government can take some type of emergency action to remove him from office? I just don’t believe it. There is a monster on the loose and I fear how much worse things are going to get when he loses.
