I will be in Philadelphia tonight to hear and support President Biden. A group of us progressive Democrats are taking the train because we are thrilled with the way Biden has been leading the country. I want to hear Biden attack these crazy maga republicans. Looks like the gloves are off and I hope they stay off. MAGA must be stopped.

President Biden is now out of “appeasement” zone and into full on “frontal attack”zone.Graham is exposing, once again, his fondness of being a coward. McConnell & “Mediterranean” Scott are at loggerheads. The coffers of the “ Repugnants “ is currently drying up, although the beloved Texas Governor Abbott is apparently slated to throw $100 million in his attempt to beat Beto.

Trump has his array of lawyers doing expensive “public relations” via legal writs and filings. His lawyers are in legal jeopardy and even the newer ones will be subpoenaed, so our former president is literally in deep you know what !

SCOTUS , now has to contend with the renegade MAGA aficionado, Ginni Thomas, who has been caught red handed attempting to overturn and meddle in AZ & WI 2020 election. Added to this is the debacle of Roe vs Wade decision.

Now it is up to us, We, the People, to encourage all and sundry to ROE…ROE YOUR VOTE !

This is a clear insult of Mitch by Rick Scott: "it [losing the majority] means we lost the ability to control anything about what the Senate does." Anyone who's watched the Senate knows that Mitch controls just about everything about what the Senate does, in the current 50/50 filibuster Mancineman environment.

Also, Charlie Cook said last night that the Alaska result "isn't indicative of any national trend due to Palin's unpopularity." Dude, the GOP candidate was a former statewide officeholder (even if only for a half-term) with a national profile, practically 100% name ID, and TFG's endorsement. No Democrat has won the seat since 1971; the Palin-vanquisher is a Native woman, both precedent-setting. Tell me again how the national mood didn't affect this election!?

Finally, as I recall, privileged censure motions put everything else on hold and must be brought to the Senate floor immediately. Where's the Democrats' censure motion for insurrectionist Lindsey Graham?! The smart thing would be to bring a motion to expel him from the Senate and then compromise on a censure motion (the origin of "Move On"). Hardball, Leader Schumer? That's hardball.

I saw President Biden's speech last night and I hope that he did get through to those R-leaning "Independents", mainstream R's, and the apathetic Dems. It's true that we are in a fight for the soul of our nation, which has moved ever-so-slowly forward only to be taken back on many levels by the party of MAGA. Stacey Abrams stated on MSNBC last night after the speech that people in power like Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger are not moderate by any means and have successfully rolled back voting rights in Georgia since 2018. And recently Kemp signed off on a rollback of abortion access. Just because they aren't loud like TFG and didn't go along with TFG in 2020 to find him 11,780 votes does not mean that they and so many other R's around the country are not a danger to democracy.

I'm so glad that a Native woman won Alaska's special election and I hope she wins again in November. One thing that the MAGAs have in common is that their narcissism and sociopathy will not let them go away quietly. Narcissists are perpetually stuck at the "terrible twos".

R’s in disarray, R’s in disarray!!! Where is Chuck Todd both side-ing that? Been taking note of how many rakes the Rump has been stepping on and his totally out of his mind “troth social” lies. That’s just another way he is gaslighting us, calling that “Truth Social” just to lie, lie, lie like a rug. We can tell his anxiety is very high on actually finally getting prosecuted for something out of 50 years of illegal and shady shenanigans The sane side must keep feet firmly on the gas. Biden and team have wonderfully stepped it up lately. Sounds like a good Dark Brandon speech coming up tonight.

I was thinking, like Democratic presidents before him, the pie in the sky proposals (voting rights and police reform) were the sleight of hand public wishful thinking while behind the door back and forth was not occurring. I fell in with the "Joe's losing it" crowd. You, Mr. Signorile, have articulated the return of wishful thinking with a dollop of hope. Sure, the keystone gop had a heaping helping hand in this but the president can bring it all home this evening. Kinda wish the call for more cops included a robust psychiatric element pre-hire because the 90's aftertaste (mass incarceration) still isn't fully resolved...

Finally!!! Biden realizes the GOP has no intentions of working with him. No more "malarkey speak", it's time to get angry and call the GOP fascists what they are...a threat to democracy.

The GOP is dying, yes.

I have some concerns. I am grateful that the bigots in the party are killing it, but I fear for a country where there is only one party.

While I disagree with the Republican Party on many issues, on some others, I did once value them.

If the GOP dies completely (and I suppose I am OK with that, for with the exception of Cheney and Kinzinger, there are none worth it), then there could be different problems on the horizon that will cause the Democratic Party to split.

The smartest thing the Democrats could do is, if not prepare for it, start thinking about it.

Otherwise, the news today is wonderful.

I'm happy Biden is angry and is calling the GOP 'semi-Fascists.' They are actually Fascists, but I think Biden is trying to soften it a bit. Democrats need to get tough and I believe they are starting to fight. It gives me hope.
