We were thirty seconds away from end of democracy. They would have started lynching people right there.

How these white people are being coddled is disgraceful.

Cannot fathom why there is a question of charges for the ex-idiot. Does he not bear the face of a white supremacist? Is this not a supremacist nation? The country started out ridding itself of the natives before introducing human beings as chattel. As long as this is not a multicultural country (in numbers), the seditionists will walk because no white person will ever be the one to initiate the dismantling of the supremacist system that has held them unaccountable or over 400 years...

In my opinion, all of the GQP Congress is guilty. ONLY TWO of them voted that Meadows is in contempt of court. ONLY TWO! The rest feel he should continue his cover up. This is a filthy quagmire that the GOP is stuck in. Everyone of them who gave tours to the rioters and was outside cheering for them (eg Cruz, Hawley, et al) should be removed from their positions. They are traitors.

I still can't believe the GQP that were seen giving tours of the Capital the day before haven't been charged!

Trump and his minions are trying to run out the clock in hopes midterms will change the house. I hope the public hearings cause maximum damage to R’s in the house. We’ll see……

IF the DOJ starts taking this up, there should be a RAFT of indictments coming. However with all the delaying tactics available to them, the Rs are going to run out the clock. It is both disgraceful and shameful and ultimately will lead to the destruction of Democracy in America.

It really isn't that difficult to understand, is it?

We know that if the union army lost the Civil War what the Confederates would've done to the leadership of the union army. They would've been executed. When President Andrew Johnson, took office following Lincoln's assassination, as a poor Southerner, despise the aristocracy and hierarchy of southern wealthy plantation and slaveowners. Following the confederacy’s defeat in the Civil War and with the power that came with his inauguration as President of the United States, he chose to have all those rich plantation owners, bankers, insurers of chattel African Slaves, and industrialists, and global (slave) industry strategists, come to the WHITE House and kiss his ring. He then gave them back everything. The land that was promised to Freed Slaves by the Freedman’s Act, the creation of the Black Codes, among other horrors that prefaced the Compromise of 1877, ending Reconstruction and the exit of Federal troops from Southern states. There was NO accountability or pushback against the southern or northern industrialists trying to keep their slaves. No pushback on the 750,000 dead because of the treachery of the confederacy JUST as there has been no pushback for the 800,000 dead because of Covid. Our white supremacist capitalist nightmare experiment will go on experimenting and disasters will continue.

I don't want to be all biblical but look at the degree of destruction from natural disasters in America alone. And if we simply look at the confusion in our hearts you can clearly see from the recent tornadoes exactly what's going on inside our own lives.

They will NEVER be held accountable and our confusion and frustration will continue to plaque our humanity. It takes great courage to reconcile a counter-truth to what we're deeply conditioned to believe and expect-so many of the Trumpets and many who aren't don't feel the need to be accountable or reconcile the horrible truths of our nation. For some of us, we know this path is most important to make causes toward an improved and transformed country and society.
