I totally agree with you! Also I will never allow myself to be a monster like he is and wish that kind of harm on anyone. I can’t allow trump to take my own humanity away. We need to be better than he is that way. Further I do believe Biden can heal us and his victory will do a lot to bring the US together I hope. But I do agree trump dying from this would embolden his cult and it would be a disaster.
I wish death on no one, not even trump. I do wish him a crushing defeat in November and if for some unforeseen reason after he is officially declared a LOSER he is stricken with additional COVID symptoms, well, it is what it is.

If I may add: SO much happened between the presidential debate last week and yesterday that, as you mentioned on-air, you didn't get a chance to discuss the debate with John Nichols, as I was SO hoping for. ANY possible way you can bring him back later this week to do that? I read 2 important articles today. One is a thread by Jared Sexton analyzing the landscape of toxic masculinity, the myth of exceptionalism, and the tainting of religion that primed the US for fascism: https://twitter.com/JYSexton/status/1313483755466653697 The other was an article by Will Bunch showing the power of voters who organized weekly "Tuesday With Toomey" meetings starting the week after the 2016 elections. Their collective action (meetings, calls, petitions, protests) was a significant factor in Toomey's recent decision neither to seek reelection nor to run as a gubernatorial candidate. Fascism can be defeated by collective and consistent action.

I have a friend, who is a Trumper tell me yesterday that she thinks someone purposely infected the podium and anything he touched during the debate, so that he could get the virus. I just couldn't believe she said that, and told her she's watching too much FOX so called NEWS!
