"Run out" is right: Mitch's Bitches didn't just let our threadbare but critically important benefits expire, they left town with no resolution. Of course, they might get an earful from constituents if they stray from the Country Club, where they'll be celebrated for clamping down on these non-existent lazy bums sitting around at home eating bon-bons and reading movie magazines while turning down (non-existent) job offers.

The economy has fallen off a cliff and the only thing keeping America afloat was that unemployment insurance enhancement. Now that is gone. But stocks are fine! And that seems to be the only thing that matters the GOP Senators and Trump: that their crooked Wall Street casino remains aloft, which is hardly an accomplishment given the bucks the Fed is pouring in every week.

Their incompetence and lack of compassion for their constituents has no limits! They had months to out together a proposal to extend the assistance. They were banking on false hopes that the economy would pick up and they'd take credit for it. Also as you stated, plan b would be to blame the Democrats. The difference between republicans vs Democrats is: Democrats are there to serve the people, republicans believe they were elected to rule the people!

People are getting sloppy with social distancing and masks in my area. Last week there were a few occasions where my co-workers were not wearing masks. I think because the company has taken efforts to scatter staffing in the building on any given day and requires temp checks upon entering the building some employees interpret it as a ‘pass’ and no need to worry about spreading anything. Wrong!

Also while waiting at a dealership to have some maintenance services completed on my care, another customer sat down in the waiting area about 20 feet from me. He was maskless, had a phone conversation for a good 20-30 min and at one point sneezed, wiped his nose with his hand and continued yapping about what good shape he was in and age 59. It was disgusting and I’m not sure what he considered “good shape” but he was far from it. Even though I was wearing a mask and gloves the entire time, I didn’t feel safe. I always wear a mask, glasses and gloves in public spaces because my trust in others has been ruined.

People and businesses are getting sloppy and slacking off with the guidelines. What does it take for humanity to wake up and realize we are all connected and our actions, or lack thereof, can lead to another person’s serious illness and/or death? When will the selfishness end?
