Oh Michelangelo you are such a great therapist in this call with Bob trying to get him to realize he is in a cult and delusional. You know I really hope that the next four (eight) years will be as difficult for these cultists as the last four were for us. Hopefully some of them will awaken to leave the cult of Trump.
Personally, I believe that Trump will ride this con for another 4 years....he'll continue to contest the election in court while making millions off the donations of his supporters, and launch his 2024 campaign the date of Biden's inaugural. He's got an unparalleled mailing list and an army of sycophants. Media will be sucked back into the Trump vortex, barring changes at the top, Democratic leadership will once again fail to counter Trump's unending propaganda. Neither Trump, the GOP, nor their base care about governance, so a competent Biden administration will do little to sway the 2024 outcome. The only ray of hope is a state-level prosecution of the Trump family. Even if this does happen, Trump will pull out the 'vindictive Dems' card. his base will respond sympathetically and monetarily, the media will fall in line, and Democratic leadership will try to 'rise above', which has worked so 'brilliantly' the last 5 years. I don't see any escape hatch from our national madness, but perhaps others are more optimistic about our future.
Everyday that trump gets to spew his lies is another day Democracy is being assaulted. I know there were a few Dems who got brainwashed into the trump cult, but to be honest, I believe those people were already angry and bigoted, even if they voted for Obama. However, I would really love to know the % of registered Republicans who voted for Biden/Harris. This is what the Republicans can’t come to grips with; so many of their own party voted Democrat. Hence, 80million votes for Biden is not a surprise at all.

Bob is like Kirk from NC, although Kirk was less hostile. The Trumpies who call into your show and are listening to Progressive know deep down that something is off: their professed religious beliefs contradict their bigotry.
I find it interesting that these people are always adamant (and sometimes violent) about converting us who have the ability and courage to think freely. Why are they so afraid of and insistent on bullying anyone that doesn’t hold their beliefs?
