When the worst case scenario is true. And yet, a Trump-appointed federal judge has halted the DOJ investigation. It underscores that democracy is in grave peril.
Donald Trump exposed how fragile our Constitutional democracy is and how America has been lying to itself that it can't happen here. This crime is so egregious a lot of Americans, including in the press, are still refusing to believe it This is a REAL conspiracy, and it makes me wonder if all the crazy conspiracies aren't right wing chaff intentionally meant to confuse the public and just write it off. Another version of "both sides do it" only it's "both sides have crazy conspiracy theories" when 90% of them come from the right.
I don’t understand why he is able to select some arbitrary federal judge in any part of the country to intervene on his behalf. Making a ruling that is totally illegal. This is just absolute bullshit. Put this prick behind bars now before he does something really harmful.
I am hoping all the unqualified, ABA rejected, rubber-stamped Judges get high enough profile cases to be exposed as the impeachable lap dogs they are. Potentially hamstringing the DOJ over paper thin reasoning that bears not a scintilla of actual law. All that really happened on January 20, 2021 at noon was that the headquarters for that RICO operation was moved to NARA-Lago, along with a cache of highly classified documents.
Former Secretary of Defense William Cohen recently said that if he had taken those documents to his home after he left government, he'd be in handcuffs right now. And I find it particularly disconcerting to be in agreement with William Barr about Trump's criminal conduct and the abject stupidity of this Trumper judge's ruling, given Barr's demonstrated disdain for the rule of law while he was the chief law enforcement officer of the United States.
Does anyone else think that the country whose nuclear secrets Trump stole was Israel? And that the buyer of those secrets was Saudi Arabia? And that the price was $1,000,000,000 with an agent's fee of $1,000,000,000 for son-in-law Jared?
