You are correct sir, no surprises here. Look how they treated Kapernick for exercising his right to peaceful protest (wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the color of his skin). Let's hope we see more people speaking out about this injustice!

I listened the other day as I always do and what Gruden said in those emails ...well it got him t basically fired....You can't saying is an apology enough but he resigned and what I was left with is what else should be done? It sounds like you wanted the NFL to do something else something more. The guy he exchanged the emails with the GM of the Washington Football Team is long gone from his job and was fired/forced out because of the scandal with the team. I'm just wanting to know what else do you think the NFL should do? I have no empathy or sympathy for Gruden. We are the exact same age and I have never used those word in an email to anyone and even going back 10 years ago I knew what was ok in the 70's and 80's is no longer acceptable and once I got a better understanding of the gay community I changed my views on a lot of thing regarding gays. No I don't have anyone close to me who is gay but I do understand that all people a must be treated fairly and respect unless they otherwise show they don't deserve it. And who someone wants to be with if it's not me and frankly none of my business. I laugh when people so they don't agree with homosexuality or same sex marriage because of religious views and it's against their beliefs of violates their religious liberty. I always ask how? No one is forcing you to marry someone gay and these same people have been married and divorced numerous times and the Bible does have something to say about divorce. No one is forcing anyone to go to a gay wedding or anything else. And it's not for me to like or not like. If they are happy so be it. I just wished people would leave other people the hell alone. But I figured it out over 25 years ago ...Let people live their lives the way they want to and treat people like I want to be treated. It's really that simple. Gruden was wrong and now he's unemployed...I'll say this he had issues with everyone gays, Blacks, women...and those type of White men are not only in football...I played football from 6th grade to high school in the 70's-80s and homosexuality was not what it is now are far as being acceptable and especially in male dominate sports. The F word was used quite a bit and we also referred to it as being a punk or being "funny". We were kids and we just didn't do any deep thinking on the issue back then. But thank goodness I grew and my values and understanding changed...anyway sorry for this long comment. Just had so many thought going through my mind on this issue
