Our press loves to cling to magical bipartisan solutions that don't adequately address a problem and when it becomes obvious half measures don't work, they ignore the results and continue they're bipartisan mantra. I've used the analogy of bipartisan solutions to slavery as graduality phasing out slavery on a timetable that "both sides" agree to. That way the slaves continue to suffer for a while and American don't have to kill each other. Surely a win, win for white people. Another example is a bipartisan solution to stop WWII. Negotiate an acceptable number of murdered Jews while we work our way out of genocide. Again, a win, win for white people because we won't be shooting each other and only the Jews continue to suffer. It's a similar situation for health care in America. The point is not to provide healt care and end suffering it's finding an acceptable number of dead Americans both sides can live with. Apparently, bipartisanship trumps compassion while the press applauds it.

She's a wolf in sheep's clothing. A real Democrat should run against her. As for McConnell, he's done a great job shoving 2 incompetent judges on the Supreme Court. May he have a hot seat in hell.

"Maybe her goal is to just get a job with the billionaires she’s fought for, after helping to preserve their tax breaks in the Inflation-Reduction Act".

My friend, you definitely hit the nail on the head with this statement. I predict she will soon be a lobbyist with the pharmaceutical industry right after she hands the Repugnicans another Senator to continue their devastation of any semblance of Democracy in this country. Once again, she (like the pathetic Mansion) will be responsible for the further eroding of rights.

Thanks for writing this article even though is makes my blood boil! Seeing her at an event with the turtle makes me angry. She is one of the most enraging figures in the US Senate on the democratic side. We know now she is not a democrat. No fuckin way. She is turncoat and has to be one of the greatest frauds in history of the US senate. She is a narcissistic psychopath. What is enraging is her term is not done until 2024. People of Arizona have to vote her out. This is an absolute must. Sad thing she will make millions working for a billionaire after her term is up so she does not give a fuck. I hope you share this article on the radio today! Keep up the great work!

Appropriate time to remind everyone that bitch Barbie sinema has always been an opportunist even as a plant in LGBT circles. Your last interview should have yielded a warning to the AZ LGBT voters at least. Never has a traitor so lustfully displayed her greed and intellectual deficiencies. She has secured her future as a lobbyist for Bankrupt Morals Associates, Inc. Moscow Mitch latest humiliation of bankrolling Trumpanzee troll candidates is a valley below what he truly deserves. Once Arizonans dump Slimey Sinema, she'll take comfort in the money she'll be rolling around in as the doors shut in her face reverberate in her ears...

It's a shame we have to wait until 2024 for Ruben Gallego to primary her sorry stupid ass. And I suspect that this DINO may well make her prediction (and predilection) for all things GOP true by switching parties, in which case Gallego will just kick her ass in the general election.

Lawrence O'Donnell has her number. Watch this epic takedown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-BC6Fdb-p4

That speech she gave about justifying the fillibuster sounded like a bunch of false historic word salad. I've never read anything from the few political science courses I took during college that even came close to describing the fillibuster in the way that Sellout Sinema does.

All the more reason to get out and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!

Let's get those 2+ senate offices so we can have Sinema & Manchin sit in the corner while the adults in the room pass legislation.

We wanted to believe she would support the state as a Democrat, but we were fooled. I hope she is primaried with a true Democrat. I am very disappointed with her.

Yes. Disgusting. Sinema and Manchin are more concerned with the spoils they get from the lobbyists and super rich donors from the GOP who manipulate them than they are with the party they belong to or the interests of their constituents. It certainly is torture to live in such a politically divided time where the vote margins are so tight that a couple of venal people have so much power.

When you wrote that Sinema supported Ralph Nader's candidacy in 2000, to me that was a serious red flag on the character and politics of the self-described 'bisexual' Senator. Green Party candidate Nader, and those progressives who voted for him instead of the only person who could have kept George W. Bush out of the White House, Al Gore, brought on a catastrophic trajectory for our nation. These folks, starting with Nader, sacrificed the health of our liberal democracy and SCOTUS to remain pure to their own ego and selfish interests. The information that Sinema backed a man who had no chance of winning the presidency, but who siphoned off enough votes from Gore to allow Bush to win the electoral college, is another indication of Sinema's disastrous instincts.

Maybe Mitch is worried about this year's election. He's introducing her to his side and grooming her in the hopes he can flip her allegiance after he loses the Senate next month.
