Love you Signorile! Only here can you get the sour sad soup on our failed leadership during a deadly pandemic made worse by yes men like Burke in the kitchen and simultaneously get an actual sunny chill soup recipe for a summer season full of sickness. Just what the doctor ordered. May I suggest try making it w little sweet sungold tomatoes currently at an east coat social distance farm stand near you 😉👨🏻‍🍳 🌞 🍜👍

Cooking is a creative art form Michaelangelo so go ahead and make gazpacho as you damn well please 🙂 If you and your loved ones enjoy it- lemon juice, lime juice or even tequila - that’s all that matters!

Fauci is not a hero, but he's worthy of our respect, Birx is simply another Trump sycophant. If nothing else, assuming we survive until January 2021, I hope the American people have finally realized that they must be active participants in our society and in our government. No one is going to save us...there are no superheroes lurking in the shadows. Voting is not optional. My biggest concern continues to surround turnout. Many people have never used mail-in voting, and it's crucial that they learn to do so and to complete the forms accurately and return the ballots early. Why isn't the House talking about this on a daily basis? Why hasn't the DNC created a counter-narrative to Trump's lies? It's frustrating enough that the House has largely abandoned oversight, but at least they should provide consistent and continual messaging on safe ways to vote, and the necessity of every vote.

Darn, I was just at a very early grocery run and I didn't get cucumbers ...I've been meaning to make gazpacho! Always takes me back to Almodóvar's Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown with Carmen Maura or Rossy de Palma making a gazpacho and talking at 100 miles-an-hour. ...next grocery run. :)

Birx is a medical consultant for the AARP. Maybe it's time for everyone to amplify that, so that seniors who look to that organization for guidance know what they're getting.

But while my BF and I were listening & you never mentioned Cuomo's promotion of the factory re-tooling And the letter sent to all New Yorkers about it. Combover Caligula has failed at everything his entire life. He surrounds himself with people who continuously tell him how great he is. The malignant narcissist cannot handle criticism from anybody and he goes in for the kill if anybody dares to say that his crap stinks.

I have not trusted Dr. Brix from the first time I saw her. Dr. Anthony Fauci had a slow start on AIDS. My understanding is in more recent years Fauci And Larry Kramer publicly expressed mutual respect for each other and even developed a friendship . I don’t see Larry Kramer kowtowing to anybody and that automatically makes me much more accepting of Fauci. Dr. Fauci has stopped putting up with tRUMPleThinSkin’s BS, which has made Trump go over the edge. Anybody willing to take on Trump becomes a hero in mybook.

COVID-19 would have had a large impact on public health and our economy regardless of who was president. However, Trump’s lack of leadership, unwillingness to properly handle the crisis and incompetence has resulted in many more people catching the virus and dying from it. The U.S. has approximately 4% of the world’s population yet approximately 25% of the Coronavirus cases and associated deaths. Trump is obviously are mishandling this crisis resulting in it turning into a nightmare.

Trump is quick to play on nationalism by encouraging and supporting hate. Hence, he calls COVID-19 the China Virus and Kung Flu. In this instance I think it is appropriate to give Trump a taste of his own medicine. Therefore, I refer to the virus as the “Trump Virus” and the resulting economic crash as the “Trump Depression.” I recommend the media and public do the same. First of all, Trump will have a meltdown whenever he hears it. I have recently noticed more folks referring to the Trump Virus, including Speaker Pelosi. Secondly, using the moniker Trump Virus reminds voters that Donald J. Trump has royally screwed up this mess, which is a key message we want to repeat with election day just 3 months away.
