Hate to say it, but it may be too little too late. We all know that corporations run this country, they have all the money and and power, and they have paid off Senators on both sides to drag their feet on anything that might cost their precious monopolies. This is the main reason why things that are proposed to actually help citizens are blocked due to the money being tied to corporate taxes being raised (Manchinema have so much said so in their objections). Capitalism raised to a level which will, eventually be untenable. God help us all, we are going to need something bigger than anything we've ever seen to save this country, I fear.
A bit hypocritical of Sen. Mike Lee to criticize the Democrats of doing a power grab when the Grand Old Confederates have been doing the exact same thing over the past 10 years. And what's with the movie references? Sounds like the GOCers are borrowing from the alt-right YouTube playbook in which they base their politics entirely on works of fiction, especially The Matrix.

It's worth killing the filibuster to save our right to vote. Otherwise, we hasten the demise of Democracy. Grow a pair, Democrats!

My only fear in ending the filibuster is that it is looking likely that the Republicans will take the House and THEY will benefit from this.
