The GOP laid the groundwork for Trump. Santos is the fallout when no low is too low. That it's blowing right up in their faces is the icing on the cake. I hope this trend continues right until 2024. They are not there to govern, they're there for performative bs. And there is nothing more pathetic than supporting a political party or institution that not only loathes you, but is actively working against your best interests. I'm also hoping Santos takes an involuntary trip to Brazil.

The Santos fabulist show is an ongoing sideshow presently on hold, while the surreal voting for the Majority Speaker of the House becomes the current "main event". I had a daydream that had 2 aspects to it, one.... that the Repugnants humiliating public showing climaxes in their overnight decision to abandon McCarthy, Jordan & Scalise et al, & select someone from outside the House (& that IS a legal option) & that "freedom "caucus forces the selection of their own "Messiah"....Donald J Trump as the Majority Speaker!! The second daydream was that the GOP can't make the required majority numbers and the Democrat's Hon.Hakeem Jeffries becomes the Majority Speaker of the House.....with the farcical, lack of GOP strategy and the ignorance of the radical members....anything is possible...let my daydream become my reality !!!

As someone who has struggled with weight most of my life, I take schadenfreude delight in seeing his weight fluctuate up. Among many other things, Santos is a clear poster child for stress eating.

One can only hope so.
